Samar

Armed conflict continues to thrive in the Samar zone due to widespread poverty in the two regions. Poor connectivity due to lack of inter-barangay roads, constrained access to social services and economic opportunities, and vulnerability to natural disasters are the main challenges in these areas that highly need PAMANA intervention.

Bicol-Quezon-Mindoro

The Bicol Peninsula can be found in the south-eastern tip of Luzon. Contiguous to the Bicol Region is the Province of Quezon which further extends westward to include the Mindoro Island. All three regions share a history of participation in progressive and militant struggles, geographical terrain, poverty and share of social injustices allowing armed conflict to continue.

Negros-Panay

Various ongoing PAMANA projects in Negros and Panay Islands will not only benefit the Tabara-Paduano Group (TPG) of the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa ng Pilipinas–Revolutionary Proletarian Army–Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPMP-RPA-ABB)but also communities affected by armed conflict. Davao-ComVal-Caraga

Situated at the eastern side of Mindanao, the Davao-Compostela Valley-Caraga zone is among the most conflict-affected areas in the country today due to its high poverty rate. Given this, PAMANA will implement the reintegration program with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) this 2012.

Cordillera

For the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), PAMANA will largely be the implementation of the GPH-CBA-CPLA Memorandum of Agreement (“Closure Agreement”) signed last July 4, 2011. The PAMANA beneficiary areas in CAR include 57 barangays in 23 municipalities in the 6 provinces that were identified in the Closure Agreement.
