Gov’t builds farm-to-market roads in Compostela Valley

Compostela Valley, Nov. 29 - In its efforts to bring development to conflict-affected communities, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) launched the Farm-to-Market Road Rehabilitation Project in Panansalan town here through the PAMANA or Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (Peaceful and Resilient Communities) program.

OPAPP cites milestones; hopes to achieve more by 2012



Manila, Nov. 17 – The year 2011 has been a challenging one for the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), according to Secretary Teresita Quintos-Deles. But despite the ordeals it has faced, the agency has reached significant milestones.

 

 

Government holds socio-economic profiling of ex-combatants in negros island



Manila, Nov. 1 - The government has been conducting socio-economic profiling of members of the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa ng Pilipinas-Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPMP-RPA-ABB) to determine appropriate livelihood and other development interventions for their communities.
